Welcome to the National First Nations Housing & Homelessness Forum

Meeting on Kaurna Land, the National First Nations Housing and Homelessness Forum brings together influential voices from across the nation to share knowledge and experiences in housing supply and capacity, with a focus on the policies driving change in homelessness and participation for Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander communities.


This forum provides a unique opportunity to connect with Indigenous and mainstream housing providers, government representatives, social services, architects, construction companies, and investors committed to making a positive impact on the housing needs of First Nations people.


Powerful Indigenous voices from across Australia stand together on this Advisory Board. Their knowledge has built this forum focused on community innovation and the future of Indigenous self-determination. As leaders across the housing spectrum from homelessness to culturally safe housing they bring deep expertise and lived
experience. They are committed to sharing key insights shaping the sector through open discussion practical solutions and actionable change.

The day concludes with a Port River Cultural Cruise led by Elder Allan Sumner, sharing dreaming stories that highlight the powerful link between place, heritage, and housing.

  1. Parking: Valet Parking is available for $60 AUD per 24 hours (7 days a week, subject to availability). Simply approach our driveway, where our valet attendants will walk you through the process. Self-parking is available at the Adelaide Convention Centre Car Park, with a daily maximum of $33. There are two car parks, located on North Terrace and Festival Drive. The North Terrace Car Park is closest to the hotel and the easiest to access. Visit the Convention Centre website for more details.

  2. Train: The Adelaide train station is connected to the Hotel.

  3. Tram: A tram stop is located right outside the hotel, and travel within the City Centre is free,

  4. Taxi: Only 6 kms away from airports by taxi (20 minutes depending on traffic)​​
