Farin is of Narungga, Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna descent and has family connections that reach across South Australia, Victoria and the Northern Territory.
Farin is a respected community leader and sporting coach /administrator with over 20 years of Aboriginal focused service delivery programs and projects across Metropolitan and rural South Australia on behalf of South Australian Government Departments (Families and Communities and both Health and Community Health) and the Private Sector.
He is a current Managing Director of Birubi Australia – Civil Construction and a former Chairperson of the Narungga Nations Aboriginal Corporation; the key representative body of the Narungga people of South Australia to both State and Australian Governments.
Farin is an experienced and respected coach and administrator of sports and community initiatives in South Australia and is identified as a leader for his people by his people throughout South Australia.
