Jordan is a proud Whadjuk Noongar / Wongi man who started in commercial construction when joining Barpa in 2021. After working as a Building designer in Melbourne/ Victoria, Jordan started his work in community when joining the Aboriginal Housing Victoria (AHV) as a Housing Officer. After completing a short course in Project Management, Jordan joined Barpa Constructions as an Indigenous Coordinator.
In his role as Indigenous Coordinator, Jordan has fostered relationships with Traditional Owners across the country. Since commencing he has built strong relationships with Indigenous stakeholders while growing Barpa’s Indigenous subcontractor and supplier channels as well as developing and implementing new Indigenous Engagement Initiatives. Jordan facilitates Barpa’s partnerships with the Clontarf and Stars Foundations across the country while also working in Melbourne with a number of private and public schools to present the pathways Barpa have into commercial construction
