Patricia Cotton is a proud Kamilaroi and Māori woman, born and raised on Kaurna Land, With a deep commitment to culture, community, and self-determination, Patricia brings extensive experience in leadership, health, and strategic governance to her role.

Throughout her career, Patricia has focused on uplifting Aboriginal people through grassroots, community-driven initiatives that honour culture, build resilience, and create lasting impact. Her work spans Population Health, marketing, branding, with a strong emphasis on co-designing programs emphasising on the social determinants of health that are led by the community and reflect their values and voices.

Patricia is passionate about leadership development and succession planning, mentoring emerging leaders, and creating opportunities for others to grow, heal, and thrive. Her leadership is dedicated to re-empowering communities in their own spaces, fostering resilience, and building a stronger future for the next generation of Aboriginal people.
