Simon Quilty is a Northern Territory doctor, researcher, and housing advocate with over 20 years’ experience in remote communities. With a background in engineering and residential construction knowledge, he brings a systems-thinking approach to housing, health, and governance. As Chief Operating Officer at Wilya Janta, he works alongside Elders to advance culturally led housing reform. His PhD investigates how climate-inappropriate housing worsens health outcomes and reinforces colonial harm. He is also the medical advisor for Purple House.
