Harley Douglas has played a key role in leading the delivery of DJAARA’s priorities on Djandak (Dja Dja Wurrung Country), with a strong focus on caring for Country and strengthening outcomes across the six jointly managed parks. His work has been guided by the Joint Management Plan, supporting practical, on ground implementation that centres Dja Dja Wurrung values, cultural knowledge and long term stewardship of Country.
Harley is also deeply passionate about supporting safe, secure and environmentally sensitive housing for all on Djandak, recognising housing as fundamental to community wellbeing, cultural strength and connection to Country. This commitment underpins his approach to leadership and collaboration, grounded in care for people and place.
