Nicola Lemon is Head of Housing Strategy at Westpac, bringing more than 25 years’ experience across social and affordable housing, property, and finance. She is a highly regarded leader in the housing sector, known for driving innovation and building strong partnerships across government, community housing providers, and the private sector.
Prior to joining Westpac, Nicola served as Chief Executive Officer of Hume Community Housing for over 15 years, where she led significant organisational growth and the delivery of large-scale, community-focused housing initiatives. She has also held influential governance roles, including Chair of PowerHousing Australia and Vice Chair of the International Housing Partnership, contributing to national and global housing reform discussions.
Nicola’s expertise spans housing policy, strategy, finance, and delivery, with a strong focus on improving housing affordability and increasing supply. She is passionate about creating sustainable, long-term housing outcomes that support stronger, more inclusive communities.
