Patricia Cotton is a proud Kamilaroi and Māori woman, born and raised on Kaurna Land. As the CEO of the Aboriginal Sobriety Group, She brings extensive experience in leadership, health, and strategic governance, guided by a deep commitment to culture, community, and self-determination.

Patricia has dedicated her career to uplifting Aboriginal people through grassroots, community-driven initiatives that honour culture, build resilience, and create lasting impact. She serves as Secretary of the Spinifex Foundation SA, helping shape philanthropic investment that supports First Nations-led initiatives designed by, for, and led by Aboriginal people. Her work spans Population Health, marketing, and branding, with a strong focus on co-designed programs that reflect community values and address the social determinants of health for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

She is passionate about embedding cultural competency within corporate and leadership spaces, supporting leadership development, and mentoring emerging leaders. Patricia is committed to re empowering communities within their own spaces through strength-based approaches, recognising that Aboriginal cultures are not defined by deficit but by strength, resilience, and deep cultural knowledge. She strives to instill this understanding in the next generation of Aboriginal leaders, empowering them to lead with confidence, pride, and cultural integrity.
